Arkham Identifies Grayscale Trust’s Holdings

We've identified the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust & Ethereum Trust's holdings on-chain.

Though Grayscale publicly reports balances, they have refused to identify the on-chain addresses of either trust.

Their Bitcoin Trust holdings are spread across >1750 different addresses, with each holding no more than 1000 BTC.

The Ethereum funds are split over more than 500 addresses, none of which holds more than $30M.

We were able to identify the addresses by analyzing activity and cross-referencing with Grayscale’s publicly reported balances.
